This presentation will focus on the 14 disabling conditions/eligibility categories in North Carolina, as well as the various educational settings students with exceptionalities are served in. Discussions will also be focused on multi-tiered systems of support for behavioral and academic needs, the difference between a PEP and the state IEP paperwork, and the legalities of an IEP, as they pertain to school instructional staff.
